Important Notice: Internet Providers Increasing IP Blocking for Live TV Streaming

Dear Jupiter Smart TV Customer,

We hope you’re doing well. We want to inform you about a recent issue that some customers have been experiencing — difficulty logging in or sudden loss of service, even though their account is active.

Over the past few weeks, many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across the country have updated their network filters. As part of these changes, some ISPs are now randomly blocking certain IP addresses that are used for live-TV streaming. This can affect customers who have used Jupiter Smart TV for years without any problems.

Why This Happens

• ISPs occasionally block specific IP ranges to manage streaming traffic.
• This has nothing to do with your account or our app.
• It happens at random — one day the IP works, the next day it may be filtered.
• The issue is entirely controlled by the ISP, not Jupiter Smart TV.

How to Fix the Issue

If you ever find that you can’t log in or your app won’t load:

  1. Turn off any VPNs you may be using and try logging in again.

  2. Try your mobile hotspot to see if you can log in (this uses a different IP address).

  3. Inside the Jupiter Smart TV app, on the login screen where it shows Premium / Ultra, select VPN, choose a city near you (do not use Auto Connect), and try again.

  4. Using a different IP address typically resolves the issue instantly.

Why a VPN Helps

A VPN masks your IP address and routes your connection through a different location, which avoids the ISP block. This is why switching VPN cities or using another VPN (like Surfshark, etc.) often restores service immediately.
